Origin Visual Design is a small design firm based in the Triangle region of North Carolina. We have been in business for 6 years and have had projects from small individual websites to large corporate projects. We have a small team of two North Carolina State University graduates with degrees in Graphic Design and Computer Science. Because of our educational background, we are able to provide everything from the visual design side of the spectrum to complex software development. When it comes to finding a solution to a project, we try to apply a simple philosophy. Design should be simple, striking, and to the point. When we start a project, we try to find a theme for the design and we will carry that theme through the whole project to make all aspects fit together. To us, every project is a unique experience to try something new. You won't be getting the typical template sites that are so common on the web these days. We enjoy the challenge of creating a one of a kind design each and every time. Most of all though, we want to create a sucessful relationship with you and use our experience to help you or your company maximize your potential. We're a small team of 3 and we like the idea that each and every client will get to know all 3 of us well. This will hopefully make for a more comfortable, personal and productive relationship. Here's some information about all of us both related and unrelated to work at Origin. Sonja was the first person to join the Origin team a few years ago. She recently graduated from UNC Chapel Hill where she studied Psychology and Political Science. She started out as the administrative assistant taking care of billing, customer relations, newsletters and other administrative tasks. Over time, she has expanded her duties to add some web & graphic design. Her hobbies include traveling and volunteering. Trevyn joined the team about a year ago. He recently graduated from NC State University with a BS in Computer Science. He has been a big help with his work on server maintenance, technical support, application development and web design. He is adding more and more duties as he gets more involved with the company. He enjoys many hobbies most notably kayaking, sailing, and photography as you can see below. Gael is the founder and president of Origin Visual Design. He has been running the company since its beginning 6 years ago. He recently graducated from NC State University where he studied Computer Science & Graphic Design. He is involved in all aspects of the company but spends most of his time on graphic design and web development including application development. His hobbies include traveling around the world, photography, and sailing.
